I've had the most professional and exceptional defence. It was truly impeccable to the point I genuinely thought my barrister ( I was lucky enough to somehow get a barrister she was and is extremely intelligent and kind I thought she was a KC, but she corrected me and said she was not yet a KC; I asked her why she did legal aid work the pay is very abysmal and is truly an insult to her intelligence and excellence in her hard earned profession as a barrister. To which she told me that although she's well aware that legal aid is extremely unfair pay she still does it out of the kindness of her heart to save the innocent people who cannot afford to hire barristers and desperately need her help to have a chance of having the truth surface and justice prevail as opposed to a high potential of a miscarriage of justice if they're all alone in there). Her name is Ruby o' Connor and I will forever be indebted to her and the kind gentleman who was learning under her; I unfortunately didn't get his name. The defence was truly impeccable to the point where even if I was wrongfully convicted (thankfully justice prevailed in that courtroom and I was admitted innocence) I'd still be happy in knowing that they tried their best and that my defence couldn't get any better. I'm extremely satisfied. The entire team at SBG was great professionally, ethically and morally as well especially Abu Sayeed and Anthea I don't know how to spell that name but she was very kind and helpful also. For people like me these extraordinarily admirable people who put helping the weak over much higher paying jobs such as working for CPS/other are truly like the exuberant specks of light (stars) in the night sky.

SBG Solicitors supported me during my lengthy court proceeding. I'd like to give thanks to Mr Bopitiya and Lax for their genuine and supportive advice throughout and the fees they charged were very reasonable.

I was warned by friends and family not to use this firm however, pressed for time I didn't have much choice. I must say Abu (the partner) was more concerned about me paying him then he was with my defence. I was initially advised by Abu to go guilty, I refused and chose to fight this as I knew I had very good chances. Thanks to my wonderful barrister, she listened to me properly and based of what I said and what we spoke about she managed to get the prosecution to drop the case before we went to trial. All in all I'd think twice about choosing SBG more concerned about getting paid then getting you off. didn't even have the simple courtesy of congratulating me after the win, cant say I'm disappointed.

Abu Saeed was outstanding in handling my case at the very first instance and thereafter Sudaish was very supportive, reassuring and responsive throughout the process. An excellent team and knowledgeable professionals! Nothing better than to have someone reliable working for you at a difficult time.

Went to SBG as they were local to me. Office , absolute mess which should have given me an indication as to their professionalism and competence. They suggested a Barrister for my first Court hearing. At the Hearing she seemed competent. Shop front for a Barrister, appalling. She advised me that there was a next to zero chance of winning my malicious communications case if I pleaded not guilty. I decided to plead not guilty. I changed my representing Solicitors from SBG to Kingsley Napley because 2 weeks before my trial date I had not been contacted by SBG or my assigned Barrister to prep the case, develop strategy/plan. SBG bleated that they would have done so. Anyway, Kingsley Napley put together a very persuasive case for the CPS to review and thank God , the CPS decided to drop the case due to " an unlikely chance of conviction". If I had remained with SBG and my previous Barrister I know for a fact that I would have been convicted and now have a criminal record. You get what you pay for. Kingsley Napley are not cheap but equally they are not "cheap backstreet so called lawyers"
