My family have been using Scrutton Bland’s accountancy services for over 40 years and we have valued the continuity from one generation to the next that this has provided. Graham Doubtfire has been a knowledgeable sounding-board for us throughout the past 15 years. He is extremely well-versed in tax affairs and has helped us to consider both our short- and long-term planning. He is always available to discuss our thoughts and concerns, and we have appreciated his quick response to our questions, remembering and understanding the nuances of financial considerations for family members. We really appreciated his warm and kind personality as he helped us negotiate family bereavements and the required administration, and his in-depth understanding of Lloyds Underwriting has been invaluable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Scrutton Bland to others - even though we live over 150 miles away, we can’t imagine using anyone else!

I have very much appreciated and valued the care and attention devoted to my tax affairs by SB over many years. No question or point raised has gone unanswered and usually by return and with complete clarity. In a sense I 'inherited' my contact with the firm through my late parents. The firm maintained this personal approach and style and it was a pleasure and comfort in tax matters to be dealing always with the same well-informed tax adviser.

I worked with Emma who is absolutely excellent. She made everything really easy, replied to emails at lightening speed, and took the time to explain and discuss everything with me until i felt comfortable - no pushiness at all. Always acted in a professional manner and really was a pleasure to work with - which is not an easy comment to come by when dealing with insurance! Really impressed with Emma's conduct, skill and professionalism, so now regularly rely on her and Scrutton Bland for my insurance needs.
