Do not use Simply Legal. They represented my buyer and were the primary cause of a 7-month delay that led to the sale collapsing. They blamed a 'firewall' IT issue, that had apparently rejected important documents and then incorrectly claimed my solicitor hadn't sent the information. After sending a complaint, they responded with a completely dismissive email, basically stating that they don’t care because I was not their client. Awful service and poor handling. I was recommended to use this solicitor from Chancellors and I’m glad I followed the advice from others, that said not to use them.

Solicitors like these are the reason that the industry as a whole gets a bad reputation. They are acting as solicitors for my buyers, and have slowed down the entire process, whether they are sitting on documents and responses for weeks at a time, or raising completely irrelevant enquiries that look like they've come straight from a template. I would highly recommend using literally anyone else.

Extremely poor service. Poor communication, errors in documentation, and delays during purchase of house. I would not recommend this law firm.
