As an Expert Witness in Modern Slavery I have had the pleasure of working with Sperrin Law on a number of Crown Court cases where children and young people have been charged with offences that were a result of coercion and force. I have worked most closely with Zachary Whyte and Rose Nelson, both who approach all of their client's with empathy and compassion, and go above and beyond in securing justice. Zachary Whyte gave me excellent advice and moral support over a serious charge which ultimately was dropped. After a traumatising arrest for assault of an emergency worker, and originally going with HJA and feeling undersupported, a friend recommended Zachary Whyte at Sperrins. Zach was beyond supportive, supporting me to understand the steps, took Legal Aid and helped me feel confident and less terrified of the entire process as a neurodivergent person. He consistently advocated for my needs, was there to help me throughout the process and eventually the case was dropped and served no evidence (all thanks to his hard work). I can't thank him enough - without him, I don't know what I would have done.
