Most stressful experience of my life. Consitently poor communication. Their complaints process is a farce - still no formal response from July. Contacting anyone senior is nearly impossible. Only completed the purchase and sale with hours to spare before our mortgage offer expired. Some complications, but mostly caused by / not addressed by the firm. Minimal proactive problem-solving. The amount of work I put in myself chasing and researching things they should have known and pressing for basic actions such as forwarding emails was staggering.

Terrible experience. Communication was non-existent throughout the purchase. We almost never heard directly from a solicitor, only from constantly changing admin staff who didn’t know our case. Emails often went unanswered, forcing us to chase everything by phone. Because of their delays and poor coordination, we missed deadlines (big money lost) and paid three extra months of rent. We also had to resolve urgent issues ourselves and repeatedly correct their mistakes, including missing documents and overlooked signatures. Buying a house is stressful enough, these solicitors made it significantly worse. Absolutely not recommended.

Not great, I'm afraid. They are slow to deal with responses, phone lines constantly don't work, and they seem inexperienced. I wish I could leave a positive review, but I can't. They have helped me buy a property, but really, they did the minimum work. I am still using them for the sale of my property, and they are incredibly slow. I can't emphasise enough - please don't waste your time or money with them.

Avoid at all costs. I bought my first home using Staploe solicitors and their communication, time management, professionalism and quality of work were all poor. They ignored the other solicitors for weeks, dragging out the whole process, then lied and said they'd replied when they hadn't. Suddenly a reply would appear out of no where. In the end it was going on so long I took action and called them every day, and it finally got moving. At the end when I expressed my frustration and upset at their service, I was gaslighted and told "sorry you feel that way", with no real apology. I emailed a couple of weeks after completion to ask for a document they'd never sent me and I've been ignored, still to this day. Do not use these Solicitors.

I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Staploe Solicitors. Their service was consistently unprofessional, communication was poor / non-existent, and the quality of the work delivered was far below any reasonable standard. Deadlines were missed repeatedly, promises were broken and I was left feeling frustrated and ignored throughout entire process. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company, as my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable.
