I found myself in a bit of a tricky situation and needed a solicitor for a family court issue. I contacted the Stephens & Scown office in Truro and was advised I would get a call back from the family law specialist Megan Eaton. A few hours later, Megan called and we discussed the basics on the case. I instantly felt at ease and we arranged a face to face visit the following week. Megan was nothing short of amazing, her kind and professional approach throughout this whole ordeal has been outstanding. Megan is thorough and took her time to understand the issues leading up to the court cases that unfortunately needed to be scheduled several times over a year. Her communication was 10 out of 10 with honest practical advice and reassurance throughout. Megan was able to advocate my needs and wishes throughout, ensuring that the correct policies where being followed by the Local authority. When your family needs legal help, the court process is daunting and extremely overwhelming. Megan carefully explained all the procedures and made sure I was able to understand the process. Her advice, continued support and professional attitude towards her role really shines through in your time of need. At court Megan and her colleagues always greeted me on arrival and ensured we had a safe & private area to discuss any issues. Finally, after several ups and downs our case was a finalised and we achieved the best possible outcome for our family. I truly belive we wouldn't have made it through without Megan and the team at Stephen & Scown solicitors. Can not recommend enough !!! Thanks again Team 😄

We used Stephens Scown for what turned out to be an extremely complicated swap of land parcels with our neighbours. Lydia, who led the work for our side, did an amazing job. She was absolutely key to keeping the show on the road, ensuring we were always informed throughout, retaining her patience as we hit one unexpected issue after another (none of which were anybody's fault - it just turned to be more complicated than any of us could have realised beforehand)... we're grateful to her for her tenacity in getting it over the line!

Cannot praise the team of Charlotte Crane and Bonnie Wright for the absolutely brilliant service they provided. Professional, proactive, diligent, fastidious and very friendly. I moved to Stephen’s Scown after my old solicitors caused unnecessary delays with a sale. Charlotte Crane was fabulous - she completed on a purchase for me in a matter of weeks - maintaining regular contact and progressing in record speed. Highly recommend!
