I used Storrar Cowdry during the purchase, and nine year later the sale of a leasehold property. I would highly recommend the firm and in particular Daniel Stear and Claire Orford who provided the conveyancing for the recent sale. Professional yet personal, Daniel handled all enquiries/negotiations extremely promptly and provided advice and reassurance when there were unforeseen delays during the transaction. A very positive experience.

Rhian and her colleagues are excellent. I couldn't recommend them enough - this is the third house purchase I have used them for and they have always been clear, fast, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Truly professional and also very pro-active. Can't recommend enough.

The service that I received from Janet Baines at Storrar Cowdry was excellent. She is a legal professional who has a manner that is extremely personable and approachable, whilst being able to guide you through complex and difficult legal matters. Someone who I would highly recommend to anyone !

We were involved in a complex and difficult dispute to remove a contractor and his equipment from our industrial unit after he stopped paying rent. Legal representation was essential. I learned of Storrar Cowdry by referral and was introduced to Kate Naylor. Kate reviewed all of the facts and provided me with a winning formula during our first meeting. The outcome was very successful. Kate has real talent, a lot of experience, safe pair of hands and a very smart thinker. Reluctant to post such a critical review but unfortunately feel it is well earned & appropriate . Unprofessional and discourteous …. Why? I made a new enquiry Monday - nil response. Chased them up - nil response. Chased again Thursday again patiently and politely requested a call back ; I was promised an urgent call back ; the call handler at Storrar advised me that this lack of response was not OK - still - no call Friday. A full business week not to return a new enquiry is shocking. Even to drop a courtesy email would be something. They take a very long time to answer the phone too. If they don’t want a private case, they should have the professional courtesy to communicate that. If they are understaffed, they should say so. I’d be embarrassed if that was my practice and how my business was being managed ….. I can see others have made complaints about poor communication. Yikes … if is this how these guys conduct their business for adopting new cases id hate to find out how poorly you were catered for once you’d invested time and money with them. I used Storrar a long time ago … they seem to have gone downhill (sorry).
