Exceptional Service from Hayley Wakefield at Thatcher & Hallam Hayley was absolutely brilliant throughout what turned out to be a very long and stressful house sale and purchase. The process took over a year and nearly collapsed several times due to buyers dropping out and poor solicitors further down the chain, but Hayley was consistently excellent. She is professional, approachable, and explains everything in plain English, which made things so much easier to understand. Hayley always responded quickly and was at the end of the phone whenever I needed clarification or reassurance. Her calm, proactive approach kept everything moving when it could have fallen apart. I would highly recommend Hayley Wakefield to anyone seeking reliable and professional legal support for property transactions.

Hayley Wakefield at Thatcher and Hallam was recommended to be by family following their positive experience with her. I used Hayley for the purchase of my new house and she was fantastic from start to finish. Great communication, proactive, professional but also approachable. I have had experience with a number of other conveyancers before moving to the area, and none of them come close to the service from Hayley and the Thatcher and Hallam team.

I attended a free legal advice clinic in January this year and the advice was that I was highly likely to win my case against a difficult Customer of mine. However, this turned out to be completely incorrect and costly for me following my recent hearing in the County Court. I had outlined all the facts of my case very thoroughly to the Solicitor I saw at Thatcham & Hallam and used them to put before the County Court but it didn’t get me anywhere. Rather than say I was highly likely to win my case I would have preferred a more accurate and realistic legal opinion of the pitfalls of me going ahead with County Court action to avoid the unnecessary expense of me trying to recover an unpaid invoice.

We're the buyers solicitor for my house sale. They were extremely slow in every aspect. Took 2-3 weeks to reply to any of my solicitors emails. Only looked at the fixtures and fittings form and questioned it (they received 2 months prior) just as we were pressing to complete. Claimed to have not had responses from my solicitors, despite seeing email evidence they received them the same day. If you want your house move to drag on and on, I filully recommend these solicitors.
