Lisa was outstanding throughout my family dispute. She was approachable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly while providing expert, practical advice. I have been supported by Lisa Edmunds in a children's case about my 2-year old daughter. My daughter had not been allowed by her mother to see me suddenly. It was very stressful and difficult for my child and me. Lisa has supported us wonderfully in two different instances before the Liverpool Family court. Lisa focused on the interests of my daughter and the result is that my daughter is having a wonderful bond with me again. Lisa is very knowledgeable and thorough, very robust and eloquent in how she presents herself, and to-the-point in her advice (she doesn't use big words, or overpromises). And the results have been very good. I do appreciate Lisa's help a lot. And I do recommend Lisa's services enormously to anyone who is in need of professional advice and barrister services! I cannot speak highly enough of Lisa basically.

I recently had the support of Lisa during family court proceedings at Manchester Family Court, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very start, she showed an impressive depth of knowledge and a clear understanding of the complexities involved. What stood out most was her ability to see and appreciate both sides of the parents’ perspectives, which gave me a lot of reassurance that nothing was being overlooked. Lisa was very tactical in her approach, always thinking a few steps ahead, and her advice was not only practical but also carefully thought through. Callum represented me for an application hearing. He met me before the hearing and briefed me, answering all of my questions. He helped me keep calm as I was very anxious. He had considered all of the evidence and made articulate submissions on my behalf. As a result, my ex’s application was dismissed. This was such a relief for me. Callum made me feel heard. I would recommend him and use him again in the future. I cannot thank him enough. Throughout my proceedings I was represented by Lisa Edmunds, who made me feel calm in the most nerve wrecking environment. I felt understood, which after leaving an abusive relationship is everything. Lisa managed my expectations over 11 months and always made sure I knew what was happening. She answered all of my queries and explained the possible outcomes at each listing. Lisa checked on me throughout our hearings as I was often distressed. It shows that Lisa has been through family court herself, as she doesn’t look down on you, like some barristers do. During adjournments Lisa also offered her chambers as a safe place for me to wait so I did not chance running into my abusive ex. Likewise she would ensure I was in the court’s safe room before grabbing us coffee. She couldn’t do enough and I’ll be eternally grateful! Lara accompanied Lisa as a pupil during my last few hearings. Lara sat by my side in court, offering me water and tissues. This sounds small but when you’re in such an emotional setting, it is just what you need. Lara also waited with me outside of court ensuring that I did not come into contact with my abusive ex. Lara made me feel safe and was honestly like a personal bodyguard! She took extensive notes throughout which was helpful as you can forget what was said when emotions are high. I felt so comfortable and powerful with these two by my side. Thanks to Lisa’s cross examination, I now have a court order documenting that I have been victim to domestic abuse and my son lives with me after being taken from my care, without my consent (coercive control). Thank you Lisa & Lara! X

Where do I begin, As a single father trying to fight for shared custody of my 2 year old daughter. Lisa Edmund’s triumphed in gaining a fair and just result for me and my little girl, despite being against the odds. If there are any fathers out there trying to do the same. I can not recommend Lisa enough. She is an absolute asset and will get the job done.
