My experience with Vincent McCarthy Solicitors has been extremely poor and I would not recommend this firm. Throughout my time as a client, communication was inconsistent, costs were unclear, and their approach was defensive and unprofessional. When I raised reasonable concerns about transparency, billing, and updates on my case, I received dismissive and abrupt responses from Vincent McCarthy himself, showing little regard for client care or accountability. His correspondence lacked professionalism and placed unwarranted blame on me rather than addressing the firm’s clear failings. The firm’s handling of my matter has caused unnecessary stress, confusion, and additional expense, and I feel completely let down by the way I was treated. The experience reflected poor leadership, poor communication, and a clear focus on billing over service or outcome. While I found Jenny Gamble polite and helpful in her dealings with me, this was overshadowed by the overall culture and attitude of the firm. I have regrettably submitted a formal complaint and believe it’s important to share my experience so others are aware of the way this firm conducts itself.

Initially I was happy with the service, but an error was made by both solicitors & the service was extremely poor. They did not have my best interests at heart & would rather play the blame game than rectify the error. This has now caused me considerable anguish as I am still in limbo due to the error made. Not yet resolved 18months later!! Despite numerous emails & a phone call from Vincent who was very condescending. They are yet to acknowledge their part in the error. It is not the error made that I had an issue with but how I was treated & the lack of accountability by the solicitors. It’s all money money money no care.

Fantastic Solicitors. Vincent and the team are just great! I have personally used a lot of Solicitors in my time for various services but Vincent McCarthy Solicitors gives a personal service. They get to know their clients, and always have the best interest in them. Vincent has a great team (one in particular is Emily) who has helped me successfully build a lovely relationship with my Son. Thank you all at Vincent McCarthy Solicitors. Keep up the good work all.
