We had a deeply disappointing experience with WBW Solicitors, especially Ms. Carla Eagleson. We were quoted £500 if she could find indemnity insurance for a restrictive covenant, and £250 if not. On this basis, we paid a £250 deposit. Despite her being unable to find an insurer, we were later charged an additional £456.40—bringing the total to £706.40—which completely contradicted the original agreement. We were sent a generic property purchase form unrelated to our case, and despite following her instructions, no result was achieved. When we challenged the unexpected invoice, Ms. Eagleson claimed she didn’t recall our conversation, and we were told WBW doesn’t record calls—leaving no way to verify what was agreed. The experience felt misleading and unprofessional. Our concerns were ignored, and we received no meaningful service. We strongly advise against using WBW Solicitors, particularly Ms. Eagleson, and are prepared to escalate the issue to the Legal Ombudsman or SRA if necessary.
