I’m being honest, arranging to make a Will on a Tuesday morning in Feb felt abit odd. Only because I’ve not done it before I guess. I was greeted professionally, and whilst it is something of a weird experience if you overthink it, this is what these guys do all day long. I thought the charge, bearing in mind what this means, was very reasonable. No grim reaper conversation, a pragmatic approach to understanding my wishes, explaining the implications, or asking me to consider additional allocations of my estate, funeral wishes, gift allocations, for when these need to be considered. I liked that the process is a first draft, which arrived for my review in a few days, any number of options for changes which can be made before the final Will is drawn up. Changes can however be made in future. It took about an hour, I’d already decided on allocation of assets, the gentleman I met - Damian - said that whilst many folks are fearful or nervous about making a Will, many walk away with a sense of relief. I was one of those people 🙂
