We hired White Horse Solicitors to carry out conveyancing. All our communication was through Ryan Salim - Ryan was extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful. He responded to all our emails and queries in good time, taking time to explain everything thoroughly. I also called a few times to get clarification on some issues, he was patient and took the time to talk and explain all matters very thoroughly. I am really glad we went with White Horse. I have recently completed a transaction with White Horse as my solicitors. I dealt with Ryan for all of my comms and he was really professional throughout the entire process. He was always forthcoming and took the time to explain things to me when I wasn't too sure. This was a really difficult process and I can tell that he genuinely took the time and made the effort to assist me with my transaction as best he can. I would strongly advise against using this firm for any conveyancing services. We engaged them for a house purchase last year, and after five months of an accepted offer, the seller pulled out due to personal reasons. Throughout the process, the seller was eager to complete and move into their new property, but our legal team was nowhere near ready. I genuinely believe this situation could have been avoided if the solicitors had been more efficient. The paralegal assigned to our case was slow, unapproachable, and inexperienced. The queries we received were repetitive and came in dribs and drabs. They also had significant issues with record-keeping, repeatedly asking for the same information. The whole experience was frustrating, with no sense of urgency or willingness to speed things up. It honestly felt like we were used as training subjects for an inexperienced paralegal. The process caused us considerable stress, and we lost both time and money. At the time, the firm claimed the delays were due to the extra work involved with our Islamic HPP lender. However, when we secured a new property with the same lender and switched to a different solicitor, the process was completed in just two months—far quicker than before. The new solicitor was a breath of fresh air, and the experience was night and day compared to White Horse. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this firm. Their unprofessionalism and lack of customer care were evident from the outset, and they caused unnecessary delays, stress, and financial loss. Avoid them at all costs. In relation to the firms response below, if only they had exercised the same approach to dealing with our conveyancing as they have with this response, we would be looking at a different outcome. Yes you are correct, each conveyancing case is different and in our case, the constant chasing and delays for us led us to ultimately lose the property. It just so happens that coincidentally the seller pulled out, however we can correlate the delays on your part had also fed into this. Based on my own first hand experience with your firm, I cannot stress how unprofessional and poor your conveyancing services are.
