My first contact was via telephone with Trevor ,as we live in spain. we did a UK Adoption which was not going as normal, nor planned , leading me to great concerns about the safety and whereabouts of the dog .Trevor gave me excellent advice ,the best of it being not to use adoption contracts but to use guardianship contracts instead which gives more weight in law, anyway both Trevor and Jack has been very friendly to work with whilst remaining professional. Jack has been fantastic in corresponding with the adopter and negotiating ,having a final agreement and new guardianship contract replacing the old Adoption contract. We now have regular contact, via videos with the dog for life This would not have been possible without expert negotiation via Jack. Now I can sleep at night knowing the dog is safe, thank you both Jack and Trevor

I wish I could rate far higher than 5 stars! From the moment I walked through the door Cooper & Co have been amazing! When I was absolutely distressed about my dog dispute they were kind, sensitive and completely understanding whilst being honest about the process and completely professional. Excellent knowledge and support. If you love dogs and you need help this is the solicitors you need! I cannot rate highly enough thoroughly recommend them.

If we could give more stars then we absolutely would. My son’s rights and a potential solution was made very clear right from the outset and Jack went above and beyond recently in a dispute over access to my dog. He kept me informed all the way even over weekends at times which lead to a successful outcome. Almost 10 months it took but it was worth it. It’s a very complex area of law and extremely stressful at times but Jack At Coopers was amazing throughout. Give these guys a call - you won’t be disappointed I can assure you.

I would give more than five stars if I could. Because of Trevor Cooper's clear advice I had the confidence to represent myself and my dog against a police complaint. The police refused to reconsider their position, treating me with contempt. I held my ground until the day before the hearing when I asked a barrister to represent me in court. She was able to get the police to withdraw the case and the judge ordered the police to pay costs. The judge said the police had not investigated properly and that there was no case to answer. In my experience, Trevor is not only a dog lover, he is a man who knows the law and can relay it clearly and understandably. He has integrity. He did not charge me a penny for that initial advice and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Full marks for a good, honest lawyer.

I had a fantastic experience with Trevor and Jack for my complex ownership dispute case. Dog law is very tricky and it put my mind at rest to have an expert in this area at hand, particularly through such a stressful time. Cooper and co were pragmatic and realistic in their advice and never over promised on the outcome. Even if it had not been the result I hoped for, I don't believe there was anything more that they could have done. Forever grateful and will be sure to recommend them in the future.
