Incredible service and dilligence. You hear some nightmares about conveyancing solicitors, and I got a taste of how bad things could have been from how AWFUL the other side were in the purchase of my flat. I honestly do not know what I would have done without Glen Webb's daily chasing and almost instant replies. I was struck by his diligence and dogged determination in digging through AGM minutes for the freehold company, getting disclosure of major upcoming works that had not been declared, bringing to light a series of false representations made in the initial forms, discovering the extent of required work so that an appropriate reduction and retention could be negotiated; and then basically having to hold the other side's hand in the lead up to completion and teach them to do what would appear to be the basics of their job. The contrast between the quality of knowledge, work and service between Glen and other side were so glaringly apparent that the estate agents called me after completion to sing my solicitor's praises for 10 minutes straight and say that they want Glen on all their cases going forward! This is a sale that either would not have gone ahead without Glen, or would have dragged on so long I would have had to move twice, or where I would have been misled into buying without appropriate deductions and retentions. As a lawyer myself (albeit in a very different area of law), I can tell when a legal team is going above and beyond. Glen did... and for an incredibly reasonable fee for the hours put in.

If you're looking for a solicitor you can stop your search here. I honestly could not recommend CooperBurnett enough, particularly Nicola Walsh who kept us sane throughout a very drawn out home move. She was diligent, friendly, approachable, and very thorough at every step and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in a heartbeat (possibly also as my psychiatrist). Nicola made sure we were always up to date on the process, made the whole experience human and easy-to-follow - and over the 9 month slog that was our move - reassured us that we were doing all we can. I'm actually not sure where we'd be without her! Aside from Nicola, the reception team were always friendly when I went in and every time I spoke to someone from the wider team, they took accountability and ensured any concerns or tasks were actioned promptly, in a way I can only say is far too rare these days. If I could I'd give CooperBurnett 6 stars!

I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. Glen Webb was our solicitor and he went above and beyond at every step of our house purchase. Everything was explained to us in clear terms (which was especially important given we are first time buyers!) and Glen responded to our (many!) queries promptly and succinctly.
