We would definitely recommend them for their communication, professionalism and support to get us over the line. It was pleasure to work with them which can be a stressful time but they remained positive throughout and I knew our process was in trusted hands 🙌🏻 thank-you again we will be in contact again in the future for our wills 🙂

We've just use Holden Smith Law for both the sale and purchase of properties and the experience was outstanding from start to finish! Nicola was so honest, helpful and always available. She was so approachable and we never doubted if we were in safe hands! Callum, Kirsty & Eleanor were all so brilliant too. We had a very complicated case and were told to go with a firm local to us but we stuck with Holden Smith and they were the only ones through the entire process who were amazing! Thanks so much guys. If you're on the fence about using them, go for it. I would highly recommend!

First time buyer here with absolutely no brain for financial jargon and technicalities. Massive thanks to both Lauren and Zack who come recommended via my mortgage company, they're absolute superstars! Lauren, Laura and Zack helped with every question I fired at them and got back to me pretty quickly with the answers, dumbed down everything into human language rather than law and were just amazing friendly humans who just want to help you get to where you need to be. We need more of these humans in life! Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to get back to them in future should I need help again. Thank you so so much for getting me through and successfully getting my first property 🙌🙌🙌

We had a very challenging and stressful experience with Holden Smith when selling a property in late ‘24/early ‘25. The staff in the Leeds branch were unhelpful, accusatory and lacked serious attention to detail. Questions would go unanswered and we were never kept in the loop. Emails were unnecessarily blunt and arguably rude. A number of errors were made, from the first paperwork with an incorrect sale price through to multiple Completion Statements at the end, which were all completely different and even had charges on them that weren’t related to a selling party. At point of sale they then overpaid us and threatened to take legal action if we did not send the money back. It takes a lot for us to complain or leave negative feedback but the catalogue of problems we experienced prompted us to contact the operations manager, who investigated our claims and agreed that the staff had been ‘blunt’ and unacceptable with their last minute requests, multiple errors and subsequent ask for return of funds. As a gesture of goodwill, a sum was offered to us. Yet despite asking specifically for confirmation of bank details for this to be paid into, it was still sent to a previous one we had provided during the sale process, which was being closed down. This really summed up how poor their attention to detail was. I don’t recommend Holden Smith.

I recently worked with the Holden Smith Law Ltd for the conveyancing of my new property purchase, and I am extremely pleased with the service they provided. From the very beginning, they kept me updated throughout the entire process and always made sure I understood each step. Their knowledge of the legal process made me feel confident as a first time buyer, and they handled everything in a timely manner, ensuring there were no delays for us to have our completion before 1st of April. They were incredibly responsive to my questions, and I really appreciated how they took the time to explain things to me regarding the legal side of property transactions in a way that I could understand it.
