A year ago my world felt like it would collapse as my visa renewal was denied. However I was referred to IAS by Citizen’s Advice; we were initially given a solicitor who explained the process and offered us a quick and easy solution. However we were then referred to Olaide Osazawu who explained the entire process in meticulous detail. She gave us all of our possible options and possibly outcomes; as well as explained the wait time for each possibility. She held nothing back and really helped us decide on the option that was feasible for our family and our finances. Everything happened just as she explained it would. What I appreciate the most is that she never gave a false sense of hope she gave realistic hope. I’m very grateful that we ended up with her as she really she was very very patient, kind and incredibly understanding. When you are faced with deportation and the idea of being torn apart from your family and the place that you now call home; having an amazing caseworker with these wonderful attributes is a godsend. In the times that I felt low and wanted to just give up, she really listened and let me come to the decisions that would be best for my family.
