3 solicitors and many assistants later we finally completed. I have to say I was really disappointed with Ison Harrison and would not recommend them. We had used them for our very first house purchase in 2002 so returned to them in 2024. The house sale went through but I had to constantly chase for information, our first solicitor went on maternity leave, then the second went on holiday without telling us as we were anticipating exchange of contracts on the Friday I got an out of office reply saying they would be back on the Monday! Then we had a 3rd solicitor who was good and did answer calls and return emails and exchanged contracts. At times a no news update is all we need, but we were often left wondering what was happening. Whilst the changing of solicitors went on so did the assistants, when dealing with the most expensive purchase of your life you want to know that someone is overseeing it - we did not feel like this as the new solicitors had to read notes from the previous one and on more than one occasion important signed documents were not passed on and left in document vaults of others. Our first set of signed documents went nearly 2 weeks before being acted upon. I often had to contact the site office of the development to get them to email the sellers solicitors to then pass information back! Overall frustrated and disappointed, a stressful time was left being more stressful. If i had not of chased and badgered things would not have happened quickly. I would not recommend them.

My Solicitor Tracey Stringer has been so helpful and understanding due to how the situation affected my circumstances as I have a child with additional needs. Communication has been transparent throughout and successfully resolved my injury claim. I would definitely recommend Ison Harrison and if I needed to, would use them again. Thank you for your help!

The service I have received by the company and Simon Helliwell himself has been fantastic from start to finish. Very prompt, always responding to me and answering any questions I had. If I ever need any solicitor advice or input in the future I will most definitely use this company again.
