When I needed a family solicitor, Elaine came highly recommended by a close family friend. From our very first conversation, Elaine came across as extremely professional, warm, empathetic and honest. Most importantly, it was clear that she was primarily child focused, which was very important to me, as I wanted my son’s best interests always to be the top priority. Her interactions with my ex partners solicitors were always non confrontational, but robust in trying to resolve quite difficult issues. When the situation escalated, she responded quickly and supported me at a very challenging time of my life. Elaine and her secretary Alexandra, were always really approachable, reassuring and extremely professional. Elaine recommended an excellent barrister to represent me and when our case went to the family court, they worked together tirelessly to ensure that my statements and proposals were properly presented. It was a very stressful and daunting experience, but Elaine’s reassurance, support and guidance throughout, helped enormously. At the final hearing, the outcome was absolutely everything we hoped for, but hadn’t dared believe we could achieve. We will forever be grateful for Elaine and her team ensuring that me and my little boy will continue to have a close, loving, fun relationship I think we both deserve! It was heartwarming to see just how delighted Elaine was with the result and how genuinely she cared for myself and my family. Nothing is more important than family and whilst I hope never to need the services of a family solicitor again, I wouldn’t consider using anyone else and would 100% recommend Elaine to anyone who did! I would highly recommend Ellie and the team. We finally got a resolution after using other services who sent me down the wrong path which resulted in less funds. Ellie was very very clear what was needed to be done and what was fair. Communication was second to none and i really felt that she understood my situation and the outcome that she was required. I am grateful to Ellie that she also was very friendly and personable helping me really understand all of the legal jargon. I will and do recommend everyone to use Ellie

Elaine and her team of administrative staff are unique. I needed a solicitor who practiced family law, and Elaine could not have come more highly recommended. Not only does she offer a Pay As You Go scheme to accommodate those unable to drown themselves in Solicitor’s bills, she also ploughs a huge amount of time, passion and energy into her side line Divorce Without Lawyers; allowing necessary legal advice to be available to all. Elaine and her team are personable, empathetic and create a caring environment for those who are going through, what for some can be, one of the most challenging times of their lives. We need more genuine people like this to join the profession and represent the average person. It has been refreshing to have the opportunity to meet with someone who speaks in plain language, eliminating the fluff, to ensure I was armed with the knowledge I needed, on a level I understood. No stars I am beyond disappointed with the service from McIntyre law. So much so that I raised a complaint and from this they didn’t even acknowledge nor apologise for the poor service Elaine was dreadful. Never there or on holiday or just seemingly couldn’t be bothered because there was never the progressions nor the support I was expecting to receive from recommend Firm, such as this When I made the complaint to Rachel McIntyre, it seemed all she wanted to do was justify as opposed to Listen or understand or indeed care Even when reported to the ombudsman, they literally left their responses until the very last minute… Indeed to the second on the last day The poorest solicitors I have ever come across. I’m still awaiting the refund for the money on account… But no doubt they will string that out as they did every single communication with myself For what is a stressful situation I actually feel even more stressed, distressed even with the support and even at one point the lawyer Elaine, was shouting at me & talking over me to justify her poor work Avoid them
