**"I would strongly advise anyone considering Paul Taylor Family & Civil Law to proceed with caution and document everything, especially phone conversations. In my experience, Mr. Taylor made repeated promises over lengthy phone calls, assuring me he would resolve matters regarding a cohabitation claim. Unfortunately, he delivered little to nothing and charged heavily for the process. Despite knowing him for over 20 years, I regret trusting his assurances. Every negotiation he attempted failed, even after I explained why his approach wouldn’t succeed. He pushed forward regardless, and unsurprisingly, the results were exactly as I had anticipated—unsuccessful. One of the most concerning aspects was the complete lack of transparency regarding fees. There was no discussion or clarity about costs until I was blindsided with a bill for thousands of pounds. His website also provides no clear information about his fees, which feels like an intentional lack of transparency designed to entrap clients. When I raised my concerns with the SLCC, he avoided addressing most of my complaint, likely because doing so would validate my claims. A portion of the complaint was escalated to the Law Society after he continued reaching out to third parties even after I had terminated his services. Because much of his communication happens over the phone, it becomes a matter of your word against his. I cannot stress this enough: record every phone call and keep thorough records. The first review on Google by Maria reflects my experience entirely. I wish I had paid closer attention to the warning signs. Proceed with caution."**

This solicitor asked to repeat the same information over and over to boost his fee and helped me very little. He advised against an injunction order my previous solicitor put in to court and called my ex partner "an alert, intuitive and caring individual" despite him making myself and our daughter staying in hotels for 5 months. I did not receive any coherent advice about what to do if our primary school daughter did not want to go to her dad on some days except for grounding her, or how we were going to defend in court. If you want mediation yes go for him but if you are in a messy divorce and are looking for a court litigation solicitor, then no.

Paul has been with me supporting and advising legally during a long and tedious process of legal arrangements where emotions, ups and downs take easily control. I am glad to have chosen him to sort out our family conflicts.
