I would strongly suggest not to work with Sunrise Solicitors based on my experience. I approached them for help with an urgent immigration application, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite paying a significant fee (£3,090), I felt that the preparation of my case was minimal. I was not given clear guidance on which documents would strengthen my application, and I had to do most of the research and evidence gathering myself. The support provided was largely limited to minor edits on my personal statement and completion of the application form. Communication was inconsistent — some of my questions went unanswered, or I was told only a senior solicitor could advise me, leaving me without timely guidance. I was also sent documents to sign that were not even relevant to my case. I was told to expect an interview at the visa centre, but no interview took place, which was misleading. When my application was refused, I was quoted an additional £4,200 in legal fees for an appeal, which felt disproportionate given the limited work carried out on the original application. I had chosen Sunrise Solicitors hoping for expert, proactive handling of a sensitive matter. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling under-supported, disappointed, and in a more difficult financial situation than before — especially given the high fees charged.
