Utter waste of time. Never return calls, never reply to emails, and we even had the director Gail handling our case, so no recourse to raise a complaint to anyone more senior. Waste of time and money. The delay will likely cost us money in terms of interest due on IHT payment. If so, I'll need to sue to recover costs resulting from professional negligence.

I had used Bicester will previously for power of attorney (different solicitor) with excellent service so thought would be the same experience for a simple probate. Unfortunately it proved much more stressful than actually doing it myself. And much more expensive. Really Really bad at communicating. I was constantly emailing and ringing for updates, without reply. Actually got most of the information for them myself! And when i asked for an exact breakdown of how they arrived at the probate figure for a dwp return, they sent a random set of figures to calculate with and failed to reply when I asked again. Seemingly did very little for the fee apart from the initial visit.

Unfortunately the experience we had with Bicester Wills when used to deal with a simple probate case was extremely poor. The communication was absent most of the time. We had to continuously chase via calls, emails and in person for updates on the paperwork which we had all of the information for and was often unable to speak to Gail or Katie. There was no real reason as to why the process took of submitting for the Grant of Probate took them so long to do and exceeded the timelines they gave us at the point of quoting. They made an extremely difficult time so much more difficult. I don't often leave negative reviews but I would not want someone to go through what we went through and would recommend you use another firm to handle probate on your behalf.

We chose bicester wills due to doing home visits for my parents in law mum was housebound. My father in law has been in/ out of hospital., so we needed to protect mum. First port of call.waa paul, who talked me through wills differ etypes & needs. Jessica was assigned to mum dad. She made it seem a breeze she made mum dad feel mat ease, she was kind understand and empathetic. Eveeytime we made a home visit to do final will dad was taking back in hospital. We finally got them done yesterday. It has been a fantastic service from Jessica & bicester wills Jessica is kind caring has compassion, and immediate response to email is A1 service. Thank you so much Jessica for.your.help and patience with mum & dad.
