I have to say this company is one of the best. I explained my situation why I failed to pay penalty charge on time... The staff were very compassionate.I know most debt collection companies have a bad name but not this one .. do your reaseach without emotions people who work there want to help of course without abuse. I gave this company 5 stars. Thanks again for your help.F.munene

Our experience with Broadfield Law has been extremely distressing. One of their senior associate solicitors, Rachel Watson, repeatedly sent my elderly mother an overwhelming number of emails on behalf of a liquidator. The nature and frequency of these communications caused immense stress and contributed significantly to a serious decline in her mental health. This culminated in a medical emergency, where my mother was hospitalised after taking an overdose of paracetamol — something that, in our view, was a direct result of the emotional pressure she was under due to these legal threats. I believe the conduct of Ms Rachel Watson and the firm lacked compassion, particularly given the circumstances and vulnerability of the person involved. I would urge others to proceed with caution when dealing with this firm, especially where sensitive or elderly people are concerned.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. I have asked them to help me with obtaining an urgent document since March, we are now 9 months later and I am still waiting. They don't reply to emails for more than 3 weeks at a time. I am working with Paul Gallagher and he simply just doesn't reply, his assistant Lorraine lies in emails. DO NOT RECOMMEND working with this firm. They are expensive and not worth any of their fees.

I had to write this review as I read hundreds of reviews myself that led me to choosing BDB Pitmans. I hope this helps someone else desperately searching to make their decision. Tim Hayes at BDB Pitmans changed our family's lives. We came to him in a moment of desperation for my stepdad's immigration case. We'd been fighting the Home Office for 11 years. After we felt we had nowhere to turn, we approached Tim (having found him on Legal500). As a corporate law firm we were astonished they took our case. Thank God Tim did, especially given he had only a week to do the work for the deadline. He turned the entire thing around with admirable professionalism and obvious empathy. He agreed a reasonable rate with us beforehand and produced a very high standard of work. He didn't unnecessarily charge for brief initial contact to understand the case, or demand an excessive consultation fee before even hearing us out (a common practice for these people). He ensured that both he and we started the process together with open eyes and a clear understanding. After only one month, we received a response from the Home Office - WE WON. We will never be able to express the gratitude we have for Tim Hayes for his part in changing our lives and bringing a decade of pain to an end. He is a rare combination of an incredibly professional and talented lawyer, with humanity. Can't thank him enough!
