PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS FIRM. Where should I start apart from ALAN LEWIS costing me THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of POUNDS. Alan Lewis was recommended to me through a respected solicitor and a friend, from a respected solicitors firm. You would have thought that, being recommended by a respected solicitor you wouldn't want any bad feedback going to them or even giving back bad feedback to potential clients, but not Alan he had no shame. Alan claims to have 33 years being a solicitor, he lacked the basics, he didn't even know what it meant by getting a medical report valued. I asked Alan "will you be getting my medical report valued"?, He replied "Sorry don't know what you mean by that". I have all the evidence (if I didn't have the evidence you wouldn't believe me), if anyone wants to see please don't hesitate to contact me. Which solicitor on the face of this earth does not know that when you get a medical report the first thing you do is get it valued. You are taught this as student in law. Another example of his behaviours Alan told me my preliminary hearing was a private hearing, on the day of the hearing the judge said it public hearing I couldn't believe it, I could of had my family there, but most of all I wanted the journalists (which I had contacted beforehand) there but couldn't because of Alan's mistake. How would have the respondents (my former employees) reacted knowing the story would be in the public, they could have settled the case before the final hearing. If Alan is feeding me this garage, what is he telling other clients. We come to solicitors to get help and them do their jobs. What information is Alan giving to other clients who have no idea about legal proceedings, I was lucky that my friend knew of his behaviours because I didn't think at the time anything was wrong. So please if you are dealing with these solicitors look into what they are doing because Alan was feeding me garbage. When my friend read my notes and he said "I DONT WANT TO UPSET YOU, BUT LOOKING AT THE NOTES YOU WERE IN THE DRVIVNG SEAT". On the day the statements were exchanged Tuesday evening 8pm, Friday morning 8am the respondents made offer (why would you make an offer after seeing the statements but before this for 2 years no offers were made at all). I told Alan the offer they made is embarrassing and to reject it. Alan said to me NO its fantastic offer, making no attempt to negotiate because he said he didn't want to ruin the offer and if I refused he will not be my solicitor at end of the day (these were Alan's bullying tactics). They offer was like less than what I earned in year and Alan wanted to settle my Personal Injury, Employment and Confidentiality Agreement altogether for that amount. Originally Alan gave me a 6 figure schedule of loss and settles my case for less a than years salary. That's like saying here's a £170,000 schedule of loss but settle the case £20,000 minus his fees. What the hell? I showed this to my counsellor the evidence and how much he settled the case and they said that is an extremely low amount to settle. Then Alan claims to be a top solicitor with 33 years experience. Alan gave it all this big talk but he lacked the basic knowledge and my case was not even a complex one, the respondents solicitor had only been in the game for one year and she did a better job than Alan. There was other mistakes but they all don't fit on this review. Alan told me that his Managing Partner is "USELESS because he is piling him with too much work and he's snowed in"? This is what Alan said because he missed a deadline. Is this something a solicitor should be telling a client? His manager is John Hayes is a disgrace, I sent him a 21 page complaint and he said he's not dealing with my complaint because he knew if he dealt with my complaint he would have had to FIRE Alan. Alan Lewis is a despicable man (he took advantage of me because I'm ILL, DISABLED & STRESSED and has made it WORSE) and this is a despicable firm and I will be taking LEGAL ACTION against Alan and the firm. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
