Extremely disappointing experience. We engaged this firm under the Will Aid scheme, yet they attempted to charge in excess of £300 for a will — despite the fact that some of the additional work arose because of their own errors in drafting. We were simply responding to “queries” and equities they raised as a result of mistakes and were then told this would incur substantial extra fees. In addition, the communication throughout was poor. Emails went unanswered or were responded to slowly, and the firm appeared only willing to communicate by formal letters, which felt unnecessary, obstructive, and designed to escalate costs rather than resolve issues. There was little sense of client care or accountability, and no attempt to acknowledge or rectify their mistakes without pushing further charges. Overall, this felt like a firm more interested in billing than in providing a competent or transparent service. We would not recommend them to anyone, particularly those wanting assistance with a Will and who expect fairness and professionalism.

AVOID !!!!!! Went to this company for help with a legal matter, after weeks of no contact I email and call a week before my trial no response until I kept calling and eventually got a email stating they are giving my case to another company. No idea who I was meaning and ended up with a useless “solicitor” who didn’t know his hand from his elbow!!! Thank you so much for your help !!! NOT !!!!!!

We recently used Ewings & Co' conveyancing services to purchase our first home. Nick was brilliant; professional, reliable and trustworthy. He ensured that we understood what was happening at each stage and was happy to clarify any questions we had throughout the process. We were recommended Ewings by a friend and they more than delivered. The quote that we were originally given for the whole process was spot on and as a result, the final bill was exactly what we were expecting. No hidden fees or up-selling. They simply did what they promised. We completed on our property sale within 10 weeks which much exceeded our expectations. Do not bother to look elsewhere locally, these guys are the best around. I recently used Nick for my first purchase of a flat, with a short time frame. I was extremely pleased with how proactive, professional and helpful Nick and his support team were. They were always in contact, keeping me up to date, helping on explaining next steps and simplifying the process.
