Jessica at Kenneth M Barrow was my conveyancing solicitor for the sale of an auction property in Newcastle Upon Tyne. What I appreciated the most was how friendly and helpful Jessica was. She was willing to explain matters to me on the phone, and when the issue became too complex, she correctly advised me to get additional help. The rates were very reasonable, and I really felt she was on my side to get things sorted so we could sell the property (which we now have).

Jessica and and her team have carried out conveyancing for me several times over the years, the latest between May and December 2025. Jessica, Courtney and their team have always been professional and polite, very informative and easy to work with. They have always been easy to get hold of and talk to when necessary and have always gone the extra mile. The latest house purchase was far from straight forward, dealing with a difficult vendor and estate agents and and nothing was to much trouble for Jessica - would certainly recommend and would definitely work with again should the need arise. :-)

The firm came recommended to us by a friend whose opinion we trust. We enlisted the firms help in conveyancing for our first house purchase in almost 40 years. The decision to choose this firm was one of the best choices we have ever made. Sadly for us after almost 9 months of a really complex purchase, the sale fell through 2 weeks before last Xmas. However, throughout the 9 months, we could not have had a better service. Special thanks must go to Karen who we feel went way beyond what we anticipated. Our purchase involved, a really complicated private road issue, overseen by a third party, a parcel of land that was unregistered and another part of the garden that was registered to an ex neighbour who had to be tracked down, which Karen managed to do somehow. Karen was always very professional, courteous and friendly to speak to. She always explained things in a very understandable way and was excellent in all forms of communication in a very timely manner. Due to Karen's approach and manner we had no hesitation in returning to the firm when we eventually found another property and we specifically asked for Karen to deal with our conveyancing. Once again we were really impressed with everything she did for us and fortunately this time it resulted in a successful purchase. It wasn't a straightforward conveyance this time around, either, but mainly to do with the sellers approach and that of their solicitor. It really made us appreciate how good Karen is and how fortunate we were go have her represent us. Although Karen was our main point of contact, the receptionists were equally as professional and made going into the office a pleasure. From our own experience I can unreservedly recommend this firm and especially Karen.

I would highly recommend the firm Kenneth M Barrow & Co Solicitors for any House Sales or Purchase requirements you may need. I have used the firm for 2 property transactions now, specifically Jessica Rodgers, who is not only highly personable, but also extremely competent and efficient, especially when dealing with opposing parties who are clearly not so competent. I am truly thankful for Jessica's help in closing my transactions effectively and only wish her and her firm the best for the future.
