I can’t recommend Silvergate highly enough. From start to finish the service was excellent. I was looked after by Steven Jackson who was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made what could have been a complex and daunting process feel straightforward and ensured I felt confident at every stage. Steven handled my will, lasting power of attorney and trust. Steven’s knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. Nothing ever felt rushed and any questions I had were answered promptly and thoroughly. If you’re looking for a firm you can genuinely trust for important life planning Silvergate and Steven in particular are exceptional. Highly recommended.

I used Silvergate for my will and estate planning and I can highly recommend their services. Estate Planner Jayne Porterhouse is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Lisa Ridley and Olivia McCabe were also very helpful and supportive throughout the process. From the moment you arrive, all the staff make you feel welcome. When we decided to put our affairs in order we decided to use Silvergate in Jarrow as it was local and had been recommended by a colleague. We had some idea of the importance of having a will and were keen to explore the issue of a family trust. With some trepidation we went to a meeting at Silvergate where we were introduced to Jayne Porthouse who would explain the details. Over a two hour session Jayne explained everything we needed to know. A very complex subject was explained to us with great skill and knowledge. She encouraged us to ask questions and was more than happy to go over areas. We felt completely confident in what Jayne explained and were happy to go ahead with the trust. My husband and I were recommended by a very close friend to use Jane porthouse at Silvergate wills & Estate Planning for our estate. We wanted to open a trust which is something we both had reasurched for a while. We had a free consultation with Jane who answered all our questions & explained everything in laymens terms. From start to finish we had a great friendly service from Jane and staff. I honestly could not recommend Jane enough she went above and beyond to help us in any way she could.

I was referred to Silvergate by another company who were unable to help at the time. I arranged a home visit with David Turner to discuss Wills LPOA and a trust fund. David was extremely thorough and talked me through all my options. His patience knew no bounds, especially to the fact I had an entire bathroom suite in the living room. Once I had chosen the path I wanted to take, the paperwork was drawn up and sent to me to check. I then attended the office to sign everything. All the staff in the office are lovely and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Silvergate for any financial services you are considering.
