My experience with Lewis Silkin LLP demonstrated a fundamental breakdown in professional standards, transparency, and client care that one would reasonably expect from a firm claiming expertise at this level. The handling of my matter was marked by procedural stagnation, disproportionate formalism, and a noticeable absence of substantive legal engagement. Key points were repeatedly reframed without justification, creating an impression of strategic inconsistency rather than informed legal direction. Such patterns of behaviour raise serious questions regarding the firm’s operational integrity, the robustness of its internal oversight, and its commitment to delivering competent, accountable representation. In my view, the service I received fell materially below the standards required by the SRA, and the overall experience has eliminated any confidence in their ability to act in a manner aligned with the expectations of a reputable legal practice.

Lewis Silkin was contracted by my employer to help me renew my UK work visa and nearly bungled the entire process. They forgot to apply for my visa in a timely fashion and were alarmingly uncommunicative when I reached out with questions. I nearly lost my ability to work in the UK because of their incompetence and callousness. Avoid them if you want results.

We went for a training session here. The trainer was really good and knowledgeable, but the room wasn't great with the heating stuck on, I found it hard to concentrate

Avoid. Creaky infrastructure only works due to support team. The partners are strange when it comes to basic work ethics.
