I would urge potential clients to think very carefully before instructing MWQ Estate Planning. In 2025 my wife and I paid £2,795 in full for a “Full Protection Package” of three services: a Lasting Power of Attorney, an Asset Protection Trust Plus Deed, and Legal Mirror Wills. Over a year later, only the LPOA has been delivered. The Trust and the Wills remain outstanding to this day. Most concerning of all, MWQ issued us a “Completion of Service” letter stating the work was finished, when in fact two of the three contracted services had never been carried out. I leave others to draw their own conclusions about that. Throughout, communication was extremely poor. Over twelve months I chased repeatedly by phone, email and text. Promised call-backs did not happen, and clear timelines were never given. When I finally submitted a formal complaint, my email was ignored entirely, and the only response to my follow-up letter was a one-line reply passing the matter to the very person the complaint was about. We have since escalated the matter to the relevant regulatory and consumer bodies. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

See my review below. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND DESPITE THEM REPLYING TO MY REVIEW AND TAKING THE BANK DETAILS 6 WEEKS AGO!!! Do not give your hard earned money to these people. You can’t call them direct you have to go through a call centre and they do not answer your emails. My mother has bills to pay and needs her money back!!!!!!!

it’s been 3 weeks and no one has contacted me to give me a refund despite their response below!!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!! In January I spoke to a gentlemen on the phone about sorting a court of protection out for my mother and stupidly paid over £800.00 over the phone. I was sent some documents through and I didn’t complete them as a charity got in touch with me about doing a POA free of charge because of her being unwell. I got in touch with this company to say I needed a full refund which I was told back in February would be fine as I hadn’t wasted their time or completed any forms. I’ve been emailing and calling them daily and i’m constantly told someone is going to call me back, they will escalate it or there’s simply nothing they can do as their only the receptionist! I’ve had enough of these scammers and I want my mother’s money back!!!!!!! 😡 Shocking, unhelpful service. Do not part with your money if you don’t want to see it again.

We chose to go with MWQ as Darren was very friendly & supportive as well as knowledgeable. He took us through all the initial paperwork & explained everything well. We await the documentation to complete & return.

Avoid this company like the plague if I were you. If I could put zero stars I would. Contacted them to set up a property trust in March 2024 and it’s still not completed. They passed my case onto another law firm who has since gone into liquidation and communication is zero. If you phone the person dealing with the case they are strangely never available and I have always had to email them first. Have asked to cancel the process and issue a refund so I can go somewhere else but so far I’ve had no joy with that.
