Horrible service. Extremely quick to get the payment process done however after that there is 0 follow up. We paid up for the solicitor and were told to wait and now we've been informed that they cannot take our case after being promised they can. They said this is due to their employee leaving the job. This is not the consumers responsibility and the business has also denied refunds after making false promises. This is straight up robbery and and a complete violation of consumer rights

*****Gross Professional Negligence and Financial Mismanagement***** I am compelled to write this review to detail the significant professional failures I experienced with Obaseki Solicitors. I engaged their services to handle the completion of a property purchase, specifically the payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and the registration of the title with the Land Registry. The full amount required for these government fees was transferred to them in a timely manner. Despite this, and after months of vague assurances that matters were being progressed, I discovered through direct communication from HMRC that Obaseki Solicitors had failed to pay the SDLT by the legal deadline. This failure occurred while they were in possession of the funds earmarked for this exact purpose. As a direct consequence of their negligence, I am now facing accruing interest and financial penalties from HMRC for the late payment. Furthermore, the essential task of land registration remains incomplete, creating unnecessary risk and complication. The firm's response to this serious error has been profoundly unsatisfactory, characterized by a lack of urgency, accountability, or a credible plan to resolve the situation they created. This demonstrates a clear misuse of client funds and a fundamental breach of their professional duties. I cannot overstate the stress and financial burden their incompetence has caused. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere, as this firm has proven to be unreliable and professionally negligent. *****Avoid Obaseki Solicitors at All Costs****^

Irresponsible solicitors, no follow up at all after received the money. Careless mistakes all over the legal process and never respond email. Their solicitor resigned but no other solicitor take over the case, it has been over a year and no land registry & no insurance number about the chancel insurance is done. AVOID!!!!!
