I had an excellent experience working with Mr . Vlad Macdonald-Munteanu and Ms . Charlotte McCubbin , Mr . Matt Fletcher and Ms . Keri Howarth at Aaron & Partners. I used Aaron and Partners for mediation with my (now ex) wife. It didn’t work. Perhaps an outsider would say this was down to us, not the mediator; I suppose we will never know. What I do know is that there was a £180 line on my invoice: "emails/messages with client/rearranging meeting (6)". When I looked into this, it turned out to be an email chain where we rescheduled our mediation meeting… because the mediator could no longer make the time we initially agreed. When I asked for this charge to be removed (after all, it was not our fault the mediator’s plans had changed), the response I got was: “I can do so, but given the additional time I have incurred in dealing with such matters I would re-instate the rest of the chargeable time that I chose to write off to reduce your invoice generally.” In other words, “Yes I’ll knock £180 off that part of the invoice, but I’ll just add the same amount, if not more, back on elsewhere.” DO NOT USE AARON AND PARTNERS UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY FOR SUPPOSED PROFESSIONALS TO BRAZENLY STEAL YOUR MONEY FROM YOU.

Watching this firm charge the earth for absolutely dire service and advice,invoices with “work done so far” and zero itemisation is nothing short of infuriating: It’s all just very vague and ambiguous & being passed around from partner to partner and ending up with someone who really couldn’t give a monkeys - despicable. There are better firms out there without eye watering and frankly appalling charges and it wasn’t until my BP found another company who offered full transparency and only invoiced for work completed that we realised just how bad A&P really are!
