Hilary has helped many of my friends and family with their purchases so I was looking forward to working with her for my purchase and she exceeded expectations! I was always updated when things were moving, she gave me advice when I needed it and we was able to complete in 12 weeks from the instruction. We would've completed quicker if the searches didn't take so long to come back!! Couldn't recommend Hilary enough so if there's anyone reading this and wondering whether to use DWS, don't hesitate! I've had a fantastic experience with DWS legal during the sale of our house, as well as the purchase of a new house. The team have been very responsive and easy to make contact with. They have been able to progress matters efficiently. I would use again and I would recommend to others!

We recently completed a house sale and purchase with DWS and every step of the way we had amazing support from our assigned solicitor along with their team. Transparent, honest and did everything with our best interest as the highest priority. Would recommend to anyone either selling or buying a house

I had a very poor experience with this firm during the purchase of my property. From the very beginning, the service was unacceptable. Communication was extremely poor. After formally instructing them and paying, I was repeatedly told my case was “in progress.” Nearly a month later, after chasing for updates, I was shocked to learn that my file had not even been started. This followed numerous unanswered calls and unfulfilled promises of call-backs. When progress was eventually made, and approximately two weeks later, the firm suddenly dropped my case without providing any substantial reason, instructing me to find alternative solicitors. They ignored all correspondence until my mortgage broker intervened, yet still offered no explanation. The stress this caused was immense. Buying a house is already a highly pressured process, and coupled with the demands of my profession as a Dr, this was one of the worst experiences I have had with conveyancing solicitors. Their mishandling led to serious delays in my completion, and at one stage I was genuinely fearful of losing the property altogether. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. Their lack of professionalism and communication caused unnecessary and extreme stress throughout.

We used DWS Legal for our conveyancing needs and they were very good. Communication was excellent, any queries they would reply within the hour, most of the time within 20 mins. Any issues that arose would be relayed as a priority so we could deal with them straight away. Our Point of contact Mia Lees was very professional/knowledgeable and an asset to the Company....we would definitely use DWS Legal again.
