If you’re considering Robertsons Solicitors in Cardiff for probate, please read this first. My identity was accepted on 30 September 2025. 73 days later – still no payment. Managing Director Chris Barber personally claimed on 4 December that missing-beneficiary insurance was “already in place” – yet no policy has ever been produced. Three Subject Access Requests sent – two deliberately ignored for days. Formal complaints live with SRA and Legal Ombudsman. Basic communication and courtesy completely absent. Avoid for estate administration. December 2025

Would like to thank Andrew Collingbourne and his team Anne-Marie and Rosie-May of Robertson Solicitors for the outstanding service they provided in my personal injury case. They were professional at all times but also very easy to talk to, kept me up-to-date with how my case was progressing from start to finish, never having to chase them to find out what was going on. What a fabulous company Robertsons solicitors are, having used them personally in the passed to sell at least 3 houses. So I thought I would ask for there help. I am vice chairman of St Peter’s Rfc. We are a huge community based club in the Roath/Penylan area of the City. I approached Robertsons for some well needed funding in the form of sponsorship. They arranged to come down, and after seeing what our volunteers do at the Rocks for the kids all the way up to the senior teams. They were only too willing to help. Katie was absolutely brilliant throughout our entire sale and purchase. She was incredibly communicative, always quick to respond, and completely on top of everything from start to finish. Her efficiency and professionalism really stood out — everything moved swiftly and smoothly on her end. She was truly the glue that held the whole process together. While we dealt with some wildly unhelpful solicitors elsewhere in the chain and a few unexpected curveballs from our sellers, Katie remained calm, focused, and determined to get everything over the line. She even offered to work longer hours to make sure our completion went ahead as planned — and thanks to her, it did (just by the skin of our teeth, through no fault of hers!). We were extremely impressed and honestly wouldn’t consider using anyone else for a property transaction again. Can’t recommend her highly enough.
