These were our seller's solicitor and they made the process extremely difficult. At one point our solicitor had to chase them for a month to get a response to an email. Our sale was held up as we were waiting for documents the seller had sent to Taylor Rose that they had not sent on. We ended up having to get documents directly from the estate agent and seller as they were not being sent through by Taylor Rose. Have spoken to others who had similar experience to ours so would recommend finding another solicitor unless you want Taylor Rose's lack of responsiveness putting your sale at risk.

I reached out to Taylor Rose to ask about the potential of pursuing a pension company with professional negligence. Margaret Young answered very candidly and gave a detailed response explaining why she would need additional information from other experts first, and that even if I were to arrange that, cases like this are costly and rarely result in a win. I really appreciated her candor and the time she took to give me a detailed response discouraging me from taking legal action. I reached out to two other law firms, one of which did not reply. The other wanted £450 to deliver a message which in all likelihood would be similar to what Margaret did for free. All three firms advertised an initial free consultation. Only one actually gave one. And Margaret's response demonstrated she actually cares about people and her ability to help, not just bagging and billing another client regardless of whether or not they have a good case. If I decide to pursue the matter, I will definitely hire Margaret Young.

Taylor Rose Solicitors were recommended to me by a friend, and Peter Hawker was my Conveyancing Solicitor. Peter acted for me in the sale of my home and my subsequent purchase of my new home. His advice and support was exemplary throughout and if I couldn't reach him, he returned my calls really quickly.
