I used Swift Lawyers for a house purchase and had 2 different experiences from 2 different solicitors. Firstly I was allocated Sumaya who was initially very good but her lack of urgency almost cost me £3000 in Stamp Duty. For no apparent reason she delayed requesting my searches for 10 days which then incurred delays due to the busy period, I also had limited contact and updates when she should have been actively pursuing the sellers solicitor. I was then allocated Haider Ali who was excellent. With limited time his determination to get this purchase done before I incurred Stamp Duty was evident from the start. His communication with me, estate agent & sellers solicitor was evidenced in his contact and his desire to complete got this deal done. I would recommend Swift Lawyers but be careful of the solicitor you are allocated or choose.
