Unfortunately I would not be able to recommend Lyons Bowe Solicitors. Luckily we weren't in a rush but the lack of communication, the number of phone calls left unanswered and calls not being returned made the purchase of our first home a really stressful process. I also note one of the solicitors working in the completions team made a very unprofessional mistake communicating the wrong completions date to our lender which could have been a total nightmare! luckily we reached out to the general manager of the team and managed to get through to someone (eventually) for them to rectify the mistake before it was too late. Finally, one piece of advice for Lyons Bowe, PLEASE let your clients know when you plan on being on annual leave!!!! especially if you are in charge of exchange and completions... we were not informed, never got an out of office... and had to make numerous calls to try to get through to someone to understand what was happening. One simple email would have helped a LOT! So no, go for a different firm! especially if you are looking for solicitors in the purchase of a home.

Lyons Bowe drafted a new will for me. Whilst there may be less expensive options, it was not a simple will and required the assurance of a specialist's input. I found them easy and pleasant to deal with. They gave quick responses to questions and were good at translating some of the jargon for me. I would recommend this service.
