Don't fall for the lies on the website of this company, claim they take on all sorts of cases no matter how complicated but when you ask them about something really quite simple the answer is "we don't take on that sort of case" so why are you working as solicitors then? Apart from everything else the woman on the phone stuck up for the people on the other side of my case, shocking, if it looks too good to be true it probably is

I contacted this legal firm knowing they specialize in human rights, and hoped they could help me with the human rights failing within the NI Dept health and Dept Economy, mainly how Trusts are behaving unlawfully and at times criminally- endangering patients and abusing them , esp the learning disabled. And also the way in which the Employment Tribunal is psychosocially abusing self representing litigants with mental health disabilities, violating the Ni Disability Discrimination law. I wrote a polite email and spoke to a PA. I outlined the multi- organizational corruption in NI and how Gov orgs/ charities/ regulators etc are working together to maintain this shocking abuse of human rights. I asked for any advice, signposting, and minimal legal help eg writing pre action letters, consideration of Judicial Review proceedings against any of these orgs. Here is the response I got: "Following our phone call yesterday afternoon, I’ve spoken with Pádraig and unfortunately we are not in the position to take the matter forward as we are at full capacity. We trust this is in order." Curt, closed ended and suspicious in the way in which it suggests it will *eternally* be unavailable to help me. The question is - why do all NI legal firms shy away from taking on these cases- without any valid explanation. By their inaction- they are maintaining abusive practices, bullying, suffering , breaches of law- and collectively this culture of enablement by inaction must stop. Horrendous dereliction of duty and immoral. This firm will not be at full capacity forever, they do not offer any potential help for the future. And use officious and uncaring phrases. Two fingers up to victims, as I see it. No-one can be so busy that they can't offer minimal legal help or write some letters. If this firm were at full capacity, why did she take the time to talk to me in the first place? each and every legal firm in NI say they are "at full capacity when I ask for help. This is not true at all. It is a cop-out. A damning example of a part of the putrid , negligent and self interested working styles of NI legal firms, (and journalists, charities politicians etc.) Another brick in the wall between justice and injustice. Hopeless. Do better.
