Nick Ward is very knowledgeable, with a calm and professional approach. I could not recommend Nick highly enough as he works hard to get the best result. If we had any questions or concerns, he was very supportive and dealt with them promptly. The case involving my son was very complex and needed reports from a number of professionals that Nick sourced. He also instructed an excellent Barrister.

I recently used Chris Stevenson Solicitors for the sale of my property. Zoe was brilliant and made the process extremely straight forward. She was very easy to get in touch with if I had any questions and also very quick to come back to me and/or update me when necessary. Even when there was no update Zoe would reach out to check in, which really filled me with confidence that she was on top of the sale and everything was in order. I would absolutely recommend using Chris Stevenson Solicitors. 11/10 service and support.

Used to sell our home from May 2025-August 2025. Would absolutely not recommend. We were recommended them by our mortgage advisor which is why we used them but we're very unhappy from start to finish. Communication was appalling, Megan was our case worker with Chris overseeing, but it was practically impossible to get in touch with her as the gatekeeper receptionist Shona would never put us through. We were also given an incorrect email address for Chris and despite us raising this several times, we were not given the correct one which meant that we had no recourse when Megan wasn't communicating with us. We were constantly promised callbacks which never happened, it took several weeks for enquiries to be answered, emails to be forwarded etc despite us replying to them within 1 day. They often left early on a Friday which delayed the process over the weekend. Megan had many sick days during our house sale with no one covering her workload which again delayed us. At one point our mortgage advisors chased them about whether they had started searches (because they were unresponsive to us) and they were told that they were awaiting paperwork from us (which we had already sent through twice) and they were also awaiting an invoice being paid (which they hadn't even sent to us). Didn't feel like there was a whole lot of integrity or work ethic. The only thing I will say is that Zoe was absolutely exceptional. She took over our case for the final 3 days up to completion and she is the reason we ended up exchanging in time to complete on the day we did. Her communication was second to none and she was really driving others in the chain to ensure a smooth completion. If we'd have had her as our case worker from the start of the process, this would be a very different review I'm sure.

I have used Chris Stevenson solicitors twice now in the last nine months, the first time was to sell my house, and recently the purchase of a new property. On both occasions I was dealt with by a lady called Marzenna, an absolute star and her employers should be proud of her. Every step of the way, she explained things in terms that I could understand, and reassured me, particularly with the most recent purchase which to say the least, was challenging. I won't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone all the interactions I had with all the staff fantastic! Thanks for everything Marzenna, and everyone else. Chris Flynn.
