The process was smooth from start to finish, with clear communication throughout. Jojar was particularly helpful, providing expert guidance and making what could have been a stressful process much easier to navigate. I was transferred to RM legal solicitors as my business sale was being held up. From the very start, they were excellent, completely focussed and engaged. They promised to put the sale back on track, which they did. They also kept me informed of all developments and responded to any queries I had straight away at any time of the day. I would strongly recommend them and Russell has been outstanding.

Overall we were not impressed with Muntaha and her team at RM Legal, I have listed the positive and negatives below. The main thing we found was that they made the whole experience so much more stressful and more complicated than it needed to be. We didn’t feel they understood how to help guide first time buyers through this daunting process and made us feel stupid when we did have questions. Luckily we had an amazing estate agent and fantastic mortgage advisor who went above and beyond otherwise I don’t think this sale would’ve happened. Our Mortgage advisor is the one who recommended RM and more than once we had to ask him to step in and deal which then did sort the situations. We do not recommend Muntaha or RM Legal and will never be choosing to use them again. Positive- -got the process done within our sellers timeframe (just over 8 weeks) but this was with a lot of chasing on my part. Negatives- - no one ever answers the main phone line eventually after our estate agent and us failed to get through I sent an unimpressed email and cc in my mortgage advisor which meant I did get Muntaha’s mobile number which we appreciated. - there were many mistakes made and they asked for documents that had already been sent and they had missed from both us and the sellers solicitors. - I had a couple of blunt/ rude phone calls with Muntaha, which was very upsetting (even the 7yr old who was in the car with me when I took the phone call said ‘she was rude’) I understand she is in a stressful job and I was probably asking silly questions but we are first time buyer and had no clue what we were doing and just wanted a bit of guidance from the professionals. - The money laundering checks took over 3 weeks of daily emails asking for different documents and proof (many of which we had already sent) We are very straight forward employed people so this was frustrating. Everyone I talked to about this were shocked and no one had ever been through the same level of checks as us. We were receiving a gift which was inherited but even after sending bank statements, probate and the will they still were asking for more proof, in the end I said I don’t know what else I can send you and again only once I got my mortgage advisor involved was it all done and resolved. - the other professionals in the sale also commented on how blunt and unprofessional their emails were including the sellers solicitors. If you’re first time buyers I would find a different solicitor.

Outstanding service from solicitor Jojar Singh and his team including Katherine Nicholson and Jess Kaur. They were recommended to me by a friend who had a similarly excellent experience. I have used many solicitors before but seldom been impressed. The experience that I have had with this team has been completely the opposite. Friendly, approachable, available and understanding of the stress and complexities involved with house building and completing our house sale. We were under a lot of time pressures to complete and they always went the extra mile. They guided us sympathetically through every step. Helping us to avoid pitfalls and unnecessary expenses. We could not have asked for more. This team are brilliant and they absolutely saved our bacon! Strongly recommend and would definitely use again
