How long is a UK Skilled Worker Visa issued for?

The Skilled Worker visa permits employers to sponsor non-UK nationals to work in the UK in eligible, skilled roles. To qualify, individuals must accumulate 70 points by meeting specific criteria such as skill and salary levels, English language proficiency, and having a qualifying job offer from a UK employer with a valid sponsorship licence.

Eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa

• English Language Requirement: Applicants must meet a minimum B1 level on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Proof can be through academic qualifications or passing an approved Secure English Language Test (SELT).
• Financial Maintenance Requirement: Applicants need at least £1,270 in their bank account for at least 28 consecutive days. Additional funds are required for dependants.
