Brenda Minta acted as our solicitor for a purchase via an Islamic Home Purchase Plan, and we were delighted with the service we received. From the point of instruction in December 2024, she proceeded to deal with matters effectively and efficiently. When there were delays caused by our vendors, she kept us updated when she learned new information or responded and acted swiftly if we passed on any updates we received from their estate agents. She was proactive and solved any issues smoothly as they arose to protect our interests and keep things on track. Her communication via email was clear and she was always reachable and available to talk through anything in more detail on the phone when we needed. She was very knowledgeable, answering any questions or concerns we had immediately and satisfactorily. When there was an unexpected delay with our lenders funds on completion day, she kept on top of things, updating and reassuring us throughout. Edit - The Team Leader was in touch and resolved the matter. Extremely please with how this was handled. Thank you! - Was so happy to be purchasing my first home with Birketts behind me. That was until tonight when I realised my solicitor had left the company promptly after exchanging contracts for us without any communication of her leaving or to who our case would be passed onto. Now I have no idea what updates we have missed and have no one to answer my questions in the weeks leading up to completion. A great company until now
