First time buyer, was recommended Shibli from one of my co-workers and I must say, from the very first enquiry to the last handover they have been truly amazing. As a FTB, one expects a lot of helping hand in understanding the process and jargon; Shibli & Jamie-Lee were always responsive, went beyond expectation to answer them in detail, and also took our feedback into account. Both of them kept us up-to date on the process itself, i.e. searches, enquiries with other solicitor, etc. There are some reviews which seem to dive into how much depth Birketts would go into, but this is essential - a house purchase is one of the biggest commitment you would be undertaking and you want the best team to be looking into it (with as much detail as possible). Every step of the way, they explain to you what documents are needed and why they are needed. All in all, I have nothing but just positive feedback and would recommend Birketts (and especially Shibli/Jamie-lee) to anyone looking to purchase a property. Thank you tons for guiding/supporting us through the whole process

Was not best pleased with the service I received. It is clear they sent my matter to a junior who did not fully appreciate the intricacies of my case which was reflected in the outcome and letter I paid for. Will not be using the firm again.
